how/why you got into the flowers
my father is a nursery man and i grew up sliding down soil heaps and playfully propagating plants. much much later i starting assisting stylists for interior magazines and grew attracted to flowers amongst interiors and spaces. i began to research the art of flower arranging and japanese ikebana. i never thought i would be working with flowers. i think it's perhaps influenced me, after being surrounded by it most of my life. when i visit my local growers at their farms, i feel very at home. it's a familiar and comfortable surrounding.
