re-home

when i was 17 i had an art teacher who used to collect stuff. he had pretty much every copy of vogue from 1960 (or thereabouts). i thought he was a bit weird at the time but i would kill for that kind of collection now.

weddings start up this weekend again in earnest and i'm frantically trying to organise myself before they do. i've been on a mad spring-cleaning tip the past couple of weeks. when we moved house last summer the plan was for me to use the garage building in the garden as a workshop. after this winter however i've had to revise that as we've realised that it aint exactly watertight. also the electrics are a bit iffy.

so i'm moving back inside. this is better because:
a) it's watertight
b) the electrics aren't iffy
c) i'm nearer the coffee source
d) i've got wi-fi

flowers are arriving friday. i'll try and take some pictures of pretty then.

  1. Ahhh, nostalgia. I love things older than me or just as weathered.

  2. We are obsessive collectors in our house. Mr P reckons he may have the world's largest collection of deely boppers... around two hundred!!

    Good luck with the weddings.

  5. First off, thank you for the lovely comment that you left for me the other day. I am happy to have discovered your blog through it -- such a great blog you have!

As for your art teacher -- how intriguing. I can hardly imagine how wonderful it would be to go through all of those issues :)

    Have a great day*
